APPLICATION SPECIALIST ASPHALT
Dynapac Aftermarket Team is looking for an Application Specialist Asphalt, operating internationally.
Within this position you will have the specialist function in the field and within Dynapac to ensure the quality and functionality of our products. You will be travelling to worksites to be in close contact with our customer, machine operator to support them and to get all feedback from the market to share with our internal teams like Aftermarket, Service, D&D and Product Marketing. You will own the key function with dealing all questions related to asphalt application. Furthermore, your role involves providing training and materials, relating to asphalt application. You report directly to Vice President Aftermarket.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The main responsibilities for the Application Specialist Asphalt are:- Being partner in the field, supporting jobsites worldwide and understand the needs of our Customers / Asphalt business
- Explore and collect application information on the spoken and unspoken needs of our international customers and communicate internally with different stakeholder (D&D; Service; Product Management; Management Team; etc.)
- Be technical specialist on application and all asphalt products
- Guide customers into the coming digital working environment
- Support the product management in option set up and portfolio questions
- Monitor trends in the industry and support to adapt
- Support on an international level our business marketing activities with product- and application knowledge, trainings, as well as value propositions and product feature argumentation
- Be a key member in the product development process, interacting on a daily level with all players in this process
- Creating expert articles (e.g. for magazines)
About you
- Solid experience in product operation and road construction market
- Strong technical background to understand the complexities of asphalt business and products
- Completed studies, vocational training with further education and several years of work experience in road construction, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable
- Solid knowledge of the international markets and global players/ competitors
- Experience in Digitalization and Automation is a plus
- Ability to cooperate with customers and stakeholders at different levels
- Good communicator, fluency in English

- Very good communication skills and ability to establish relations and networks with people inside and outside the organization
- Passionate about road construction and customer centricity
