Job description

Dynapac Product Management Team is looking for a new Product Manager for our Paver Portfolio. You will be based in Wardenburg – Germany and will report directly to the Product Portfolio Manager.

Product Manager is a strategic and business oriented role that isfocused on delivering solution based on the market needs. This could apply to both physical products and digital products and offerings.

The main responsibilities for the Product Manager in product portfolio management are

  • Understand the needs of our Customers / Asphalt business
    • Explore and collect information on the spoken and unspoken needs of our customers
    • Observe and analyse the pains and gains of our customer and industry
    • Track and analyse the trends of the industry – technical and non-technical
    • Conduct and analyse market surveys
    • Integration of these information into the product development roadmap


  • Communicating Dynapac Experience and Value Proposition
    • Create content for our products/ solution/ features based on value proposition concept
    • Explore and communicate our differential value offering compared to our competition


  • Being a partner to Sales Organization
    • Technical support on product and application  
    • Create and support Go-to-market strategy
    • Support Strategic pricing team in product pricing strategies

  • Product Portfolio
    • Maintain an updated portfolio offering
    • Development of Master Specifications along with Engineering team for Identified projects
    • Drive projects from feasibility to launch through the organization following product development process

    About you

    Experience requirements & Knowledge

    • Bachelor or equivalent either in Mechanical (Maschinenbau) / Mechanical Data Science  (Maschinenbauinformatik),  Information Technology, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen or Business Administration (BWL)
    • Strong technical background to understand the complexities of Asphalt Business and products
    • Experience in Construction industry is a major asset.
    • Experience in Digitalization and Automation
    • Experience in Design Thinking or Customer centered design
    • Ability to cooperate with customers and stakeholders at different levels
    • Proven business and results oriented background.
    • Excellent communicator, Fluency in English is an asset
